A Capri-flavored Gin to Pay Homage to La Capannina Restaurant

How many restaurants can boast of having a special edition bottle of a fine liqueur dedicated to them? La Capannina is certainly one of them. Caprisius has chosen to pay homage to the iconic Capri restaurant by creating an exclusive version of its famous gin, specially designed to celebrate the restaurant and its gastronomic tradition.

This initiative stems from the desire to honor the culinary philosophy of La Capannina, which for years has been a reference point for traditional Mediterranean cuisine on the island, promoting dishes prepared with fresh, local, and top-quality ingredients. The gin recipe fully reflects this attention to detail, with botanicals that recall the aromatic nuances of the Capri territory. Among the selected ingredients are juniper, bougainvillea, rose, and sea salt, which give the distillate a fresh, deep, and delicate aromatic profile, as well as an original and enveloping one.

Anyone who sips a glass of this Caprisius gin, dedicated to La Capannina, can feel transported on a journey along Via Camerelle, immersed in the colors and scents of the bougainvillea that characterize Capri. Each sip becomes an evocative memory, an immersion in the typical atmospheres of the island, a reminder of the beauty and authenticity of this corner of paradise.

Even the bottle is a tribute to Capri: the silhouette of the Faraglione, its undisputed symbol, is clearly recognizable, while the silver color recalls the luxury and elegance that distinguish the Blue Island.

“The idea of creating a bottle of Caprisius gin specifically for us,” says owner Francesco De Angelis, “makes us really proud. It means that we have become a reference point on the island, one of the icons that represent the true essence of Capri. This gin is also a special gift for our loyal customers, who can experience a complete sensory experience, combining our refined cuisine with a drink that tells our story and the beauty of our territory. I cannot fail to thank Luca Stabile, founder of Caprisius, who has honored us with the opportunity to carry out this initiative.”
